Soare Cabernet Sauvignon 和 Prince Matei Merlot。
Starmina
Vinarte Winery was founded in 1998 by a group of visionary investors from Romania, France, and Italy, united by a common goal: to revive Romania’s rich winemaking tradition and elevate it to international acclaim. From its very beginning, Vinarte has stood for quality over quantity, becoming one of the leading forces in modern Romanian wine.
Vinarte emerged in the early post-communist era of Romania as one of the first wine estates to adopt modern winemaking techniques, focusing on excellence and authenticity. The founders’ mission was not only to produce great wines but to inspire a new generation of Romanian winemakers and entrepreneurs.
Their goal was to explore Romania’s viticultural heritage, select the best microclimates, and showcase the potential of local terroir to the world.
Vinarte’s vineyards are located in the sun-kissed southern regions of Romania, where the warm summers are tempered by the Danube and Olt Rivers, creating unique microclimates. The estate includes two major vineyard sites:
At the heart of Vinarte’s success is its dedicated and passionate team, led by head winemaker Iustin Urucu, who has been with the winery since the very first harvest in 1999. His intimate understanding of every vine and vineyard parcel, combined with decades of experience, ensures that each Vinarte wine reflects the true essence of its origin.
Vinarte is celebrated for its bold and elegant red wines, particularly:
Both wines consistently earn national and international acclaim for their power, balance, and deep connection to Romanian terroir.
The winery also produces the Nedeea blend—a tribute to tradition—featuring Fetească Neagră, Negru de Drăgășani, and Novac. This wine beautifully reflects the character of Romanian indigenous varieties in a modern, expressive style.
While deeply rooted in Romania, Vinarte’s wines have crossed borders, exporting to Canada, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Poland, China, South Korea, and Japan. The winery has played a vital role in bringing Romanian wine back to the world stage, demonstrating the country’s immense potential as a wine-producing region.
Since 2018, Tim Brockman has served as Vinarte’s majority shareholder and strategic leader. Under his guidance, the winery has entered a new chapter—focusing on the Oltenia region, refining production, and investing in wine tourism and international growth.
His vision aims to strengthen Vinarte’s global presence while remaining true to its origins and deeply rooted values.
Vinarte Winery combines a reverence for tradition with a passion for innovation and excellence. Every bottle tells a story—of heritage, landscape, and human dedication. Through its wines, Vinarte invites wine lovers everywhere to discover the soul of Romanian terroir—one glass at a time.
